Privacy Policy

How we handle your personal data when you use Bridge by Wekoya.

Updated

Who we are

Wekoya Ltd runs Bridge. We are responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at contact@wekoya.tech. This policy follows the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and phone number, and the details of any company account you create. Payment records: the amounts you add to your balance, the transfers and card payments made, and the account number we give you to fund your balance. We do not see or store your full card details. Usage records: for each request, the model used, the size of the request, its cost, the time, the key used and whether it worked. We use these to bill you and to show you your usage. Technical and product data: pages you visit, buttons you click, errors, and your approximate location, browser and device. We use this to understand how Bridge is used and to fix problems. We remove query strings and fragments from the addresses we collect. How the site is used: we collect how the site is used, including the pages you visit, what you click and what is shown on screen, such as your name, email, usage and costs, to fix problems and improve Bridge. What you type, passwords, API keys and account numbers are never collected.

What we store and what we do not

We do not save the text of your requests: the prompts, replies, images, files and tool data that pass through Bridge are used to produce your result and are not written to our database. Some features keep content because that is their job, and only when you use them. Designs from Design a solution are kept with their conversation until you delete them. Test cases you add to a workload are kept until you delete them, and the answers from a run until the workload's retention period ends (90 days unless you change it). If you turn on learning from backup answers for a deployment, the requests and answers it learns from are kept for that same period. Batch results are kept for 30 days so you can fetch them. Caches you create are held by the model provider until they expire. Feedback you send us is kept so we can act on it. Your API keys and guest keys are shown once when you create them and cannot be read back afterwards. Provider keys you give us are stored encrypted.

Why we use your data

To create and run your account, provide Bridge and bill you (because you have asked us to, under our agreement with you). To keep Bridge secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet our legal and accounting duties. To understand and improve Bridge, and to contact you about your account or about changes to our service. Where the law requires your consent, we ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run Bridge, such as providers of payments, hosting, email and product analytics, and with the AI model provider that produces the reply to a request you make, so that it can do so. These providers may only use data to provide their service to us. We may also share data when the law requires it or to protect people and our service. Some of these providers are outside Nigeria. When data leaves Nigeria, we take steps to make sure it stays protected as the law requires.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small amount of browser storage to keep you signed in and to measure how Bridge is used. We respect the Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals from your browser: if either is on, we don't collect how you use the site.

How long we keep it

We keep account and payment records while your account is open and for as long afterwards as we need to meet our legal, tax and accounting duties and to resolve disputes. We then delete the data or make it anonymous.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to limit or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy you can take elsewhere. Write to contact@wekoya.tech and we will reply within a reasonable time. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Security

We protect your data with technical and organisational measures that suit the risk. No service is completely secure, so please protect your own password and keys.

Children

Bridge is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will tell you by email or in your console.
