# An AI API you can pay for by bank transfer

**In short:** Bridge by Wekoya gives every account its own Nigerian account number. Transfer naira to it from any bank and your balance goes up; every AI request is then paid from that balance, with its cost shown in naira. It covers GPT, Claude, Gemini and 90+ other models through one OpenAI-compatible key.

## How it works

1. [Create a free account](https://bridge.wekoya.tech/sign-up) and add your phone number.
2. Open Billing. Your account number is there; transfer to it from any Nigerian bank app.
3. The balance updates when the transfer arrives. Create a key and start calling models.
4. Each request is paid from the balance and shows its cost in naira. When the balance runs out, requests stop with a clear error; nothing goes negative.

## Control what you spend

- Put a naira limit on any key, so a leaked key or a bug cannot drain the balance.

**Which banks can I transfer from?**

Any Nigerian bank. The account number on your Billing page takes ordinary bank transfers.

**Is there a subscription?**

No. You pay per request from your balance. Nothing recurs.

**Can I pay by card instead?**

Yes, a card works too. A bank transfer is simply the way that never needs a dollar card.
